Court of appeal Sleep-in outcome
This week the Court of Appeal handed down it’s judgement on Sleep-in’s at work and the National Minimum Wage. They have now ruled that National Minimum Wage does not apply to sleep-in shifts and will only be paid if a worker is awake for the purpose of working.
