Continuing our Health and Social Care collaboration with another local care provider Anchor and local schools in the borough we have recieved some fantastic feedback on our schools project.
We hope to continue collaborating with these schools in the future to help their students have a better understanding of the Health and Social Care industry.
Our latest feedback is from Stanley Park High School:
We have been working alongside Foundation care this year within the Sixth form at Stanley Park High School. As a company I found them very professional and really easy to speak to. They were also very organised when it came to organising the workshops. Jane and Becky came into the school for a number of workshops and organised placements for the Year 12 Health and Social Care students in the sixth form. The experience has allowed the students to explore a range of different job roles in the sector and put their knowledge learnt throughout the course to real life scenarios. Many students have benefited from this experience and are partaking in further work experience to expand their skills further in the care sector. As a department it has been a great opportunity working alongside Foundation care and we will most definitely be collaborating this into the curriculum over the coming years.
