During this pandemic the kindness of others has really highlighted the good in the world, especially when we have been surrounded by incredible amounts of negativity.
One of our very generous Support Workers, Hannah, who works for us part time as well as working for the NHS has kindly donated our entire team some home made cupcakes.
Teaming up with Tam’s Cupcakes, a local cake maker, who has donated her time and cakes, they both wanted to show their support in recognition of the hard work and dedication of our staff, shown during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
We cannot thank them both enough for this kind and generous gesture of support and love.
As a Thank you, and to ‘pay it forward’ our Directors have kindly agreed to donate £100 to Tam’s Cupcakes so that she can continue to make cakes for more local care homes! As we have been working alongside Ridgemount in Banstead, who provide care for the elderly with Dementia, on our student project, we have asked that the donated cakes go to them. Their team of keyworkers have been working hard too during this pandemic and we too want to show our support to them.
Thank you so much!! We feel very fortunately to have such wonderfully thoughtful people work for us and think about our staff during this time.
