Role & Responsibilities:
- To Positively support the Registered Manager in providing efficient and effective provision of services to the people we support.
- To deputies for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence.
- To provide leadership to the Assistant Manager and Support Workers ensuring that at all times they meet the standards and values as laid down by Skills for Care and other relevant legal, regulatory and government policies.
- To take lead responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care services in the home.
- Supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in small Residential services.
- Working on a shift basis including weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties (cover).

– Daily Living Skills and developing independence
– Educational, Occupational and Leisure Activities
– Active Support
– Health and Fitness

Requirements:
(without the below requirements we cannot offer you an interview for this role)
- Experience is essential:
- Support Environment: 2 years minimum experience.
- Manager Role: 2 years minimum experience.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3/4 Health & Social Care (Or working towards)
- Sufficient Literacy and Numeracy skills to support finances and write reports.
- Position subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references.
- UK Driving licence is essential for this role.
- English speaking essential.
