Our houses aren’t just places of work and care but they are our service users forever home. Take away the regulations we need to follow, the appointments we have to attend, the care plans we write and the people who have to come in and out of the houses… Our services user must be able to feel comfortable in their own homes.
We understand the importance of this!
In every part of what we do, we try to involve everyone. From picking the clothes they wear, the food they eat, the activities they do and the places they go (to name but a few).
Choice is really important and where we can we make sure that choice is at the forefront of what we do.
On a day to day basis we include and don’t exclude, we communicate and find solutions and show respect.
