Morning routines
For many of our Service users they like a routine. They like to know what the plan is and what to expect. They like to make choices for themselves and get involved. We love to encourage this. We want to ensure that they are comfortable in their home, that they have the freedom to do what they want, when they want.
Our mission states we want our service users to live their best life with dignity, choice and respect. We aim to achieve this throughout their days starting off with a good hearty breakfast.
Here is one of our service users, having a hearty meal, starting the day right after having had her second covid vaccine.
We don’t have specialist chefs, all our support staff cater for our services users and we even have many service users getting involved – you’ve all seen them bake!! We could even start a Great British Care Home Bake off – now that’s an idea!!!!!
