Fountain and Loving Care Ltd wanted to take this opportunity to let our readers and website visitors know what we are doing about Covid 19 – the infection that is caused by the Coronavirus that has been sweeping the world in recent months.
Our main priority is the health and safety of our service users and staff. We are taking great precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible, avoiding risk where we can.
Although we have had to cancel activities outside of the homes we are not letting this stop the fun our service users are to have. We are now doing more in house activities and using the homes outdoor spaces so that our service users and staff do not get bored being indoors all day.
We are following government and Public Health England guidelines as well as seeking advice from the local council and our regulator CQC.
All homes are now working along side each other to make sure we have all that we need to get through this unprecedented time in history, all whilst keeping a safe distance.
Obviously the latter is hard to achieve in the care sector so we are making sure that we have plenty of PPE to safeguard our staff and service users and that everyone is washing their hands for at least 20 seconds and self isolating if they display any of the symptoms as listed on the NHS website.
We continue to work hard in protecting everyone in our homes against Covid-19 and want to thank all of our staff for working hard to support our services users during this time.
